THE CINEMATICS
The Cinematics are an indie rock and roll four piece based in Glasgow, Scotland. Originally from Dingwall Scott Rinning (lead vocals and guitar) and Ross Bonney (drums) moved to Glasgow to study where they met Adam Goemans (bass guitar) and Ramsey Miller (lead guitar) at music college. Following an "In The City" appearance in Manchester they were signed to TVT Records in 2005. With album collaborators such as Stephen Hague (New Order, Blur and Pet Shop Boys)
The Cinematics are clearly a band with big talent and potential. The bands influences include The Clash and Talking Heads and have supported bands such as Editors, Snow Patrol and We Are Scientists as they continue their success in the UK, US and Europe.
The Cinematics are currently on the European leg of their tour with shows in Germany and Prague and will also play SXSW in Texas in 2011.
